Over the weekend, Robert Munsch admitted to having a cocaine problem. Expecting the world to come out sideways and dislike him for what he’s done and his honesty in admitting it to the world, him and his publishers were prepared for the worst letters. Most of what they got however where people wishing him well on getting better and staying off cocaine. That isn’t to say that there wasn’t the occasional parent who wrote in to say that they would no longer be reading his books to their kids, but rather that the majority of them understand that he is a person like any other with just as many flaws and issues as every other celebrity, themselves and their neighbors, but they still want him to get treated and get help.
